We’re seeking an Aircraft Parts & Materials Clerk to manage the inventory and flow of aircraft parts and components within our repair station. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various aircraft parts, giving you direct, hands-on experience with the critical components that keep planes flying. From receiving and documenting parts to ensuring quality checks and timely distribution, your contributions will be essential in supporting the seamless operation of our maintenance and repair services. About the Position
The Aircraft Parts & Materials Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing the inventory and flow of parts and materials within the repair station. Key responsibilities include:
  • Receiving Repair Orders: Process and scan incoming repair orders, including work orders, customer paperwork, and photos of items received.
  • Monitoring Incoming Parts: Keep the incoming parts rack organized and ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Closing Work Orders: Close out work orders by scanning and preparing outgoing paperwork and photos for shipment.
  • Pulling Parts for Repairs: Retrieve piece parts for repairs once customer approvals are received.
  • Managing Materials and Parts: Ensure that materials, parts, and components for civilian aviation repairs are properly received and documented, including parts ordered through the Purchasing Department.
  • Distributing Inventory: Assist with transferring piece-part inventory to the sales team as needed.
  • Quality Checking Vendor Orders: Perform quality checks on vendor orders returning from overhaul, ensuring proper documentation and scanning of incoming materials.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support the MRO team with miscellaneous administrative duties as required.
Success in the Aircraft Parts Receiving Clerk role is defined by the efficient and accurate management of inventory and parts within the repair station. This includes promptly processing and documenting repair orders, maintaining an organized parts rack, and ensuring parts are readily available for repairs without delay. A successful Clerk conducts thorough quality checks on vendor orders, ensures all materials are properly documented, and supports the team by streamlining kitting processes and closing work orders efficiently. Additionally, the role requires strong collaboration and administrative support, contributing to a cohesive and well-functioning team. Success is ultimately achieved through attention to detail, organizational excellence, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all stock and repair orders.
