Description:
Team JAS, Inc. is looking for a Data and Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team of talented professionals, on-site at our facility in Jacksonville, Florida. The Data and Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for managing and transforming the way we approach Business Intelligence and Data Management. Using technology, analytics, and data visualizations, you will partner with business leaders to develop key metrics and uncover vital insights that drive informed decisions and shape business strategy. This position requires a combination of strong management skills and technical expertise. Proficiency in report writing, business intelligence, analysis, and SQL is essential for success in this role. Experience with Quantum Control is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to grow and enhance business intelligence functions that support strategic goals.
  • Provide analytical support to senior management on high-priority initiatives, crafting clear and impactful presentations that highlight key insights and recommendations.
  • Develop frameworks and approaches for analyzing complex business challenges and assessing the impact of trends.
  • Leverage KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer insights to create analytical tools, reports, and models that support decision-making across the organization.
  • Collect and analyze data, ensuring robust processes for identifying and addressing variations against expectations.
  • Lead efforts to gather reporting and dashboard requirements, establishing a reporting cadence in coordination with business unit leaders.
  • Identify, document, and maintain key data assets essential to business operations.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring visibility and clarity for all stakeholders.
  • Design, modify, maintain, and document company-wide reports.
  • Help maintain data within the Oracle database.
  • Manage ITL (Import, Transform, Load) processes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain organization databases.
  • Collaborating with business users to understand needs and develop solutions
  • Working with websites, producing front-end applications, and performing code analysis and overall improvement of usability
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Experience in design of applications and software using Java programming language
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle Database, and Crystal Reports.
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, with a focus on best-practice analytics.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, or leading projects related to reporting, interactive dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Quantum Component Control is a plus.
